Falmuth's Shadows

In the shadows, the human kingdom of Falmuth watches with suspicion the rise of this new monster nation on its borders. Fearing that Tempest's prosperity might become a threat, certain dignitaries of the kingdom begin plotting an invasion, manipulating public opinion and orchestrating false accusations to justify military intervention. Rimuru, still focused on the peaceful development of his community, remains for the time being unaware of these schemes being hatched behind the scenes. This volume sets up the most serious political threat the fledgling nation has faced so far, laying the groundwork for a confrontation where diplomacy and force will both be needed.
