Slimes: generally weak gelatinous creatures, with Rimuru being a notable exception with extraordinary potential.
Ogres (Oni): a powerful warrior race, including Benimaru, Shion, Shuna, Souei and Hakuro.
Goblins: a numerous, humble race forming the bulk of Tempest's initial population.
Storm Wolves: intelligent giant wolves able to manipulate lightning, loyal allies of Tempest.
Demons: spirits born from the astral plane, ranging from minor demons to Primordial Demons and Demon Lords.
True Dragons: the most powerful beings in the world, four in total, including Veldora.
